AUTOMOTIVE
With the proliferation of automotive radar systems for collision avoidance, adaptive cruise control, back-up warning, and lane detection, the need for microwave and even millimeter wave absorbing materials is great. The 76-77 GHz frequency band is quickly becoming the most widely adopted band for automotive radar. Automotive radar devices are also trending towards smaller form factors, which require the Tx and Rx antennas to be in close proximity.
MAST Technologies' tuned frequency and cavity resonance absorber materials can be optimized specifically to frequencies of concern. Alternatively, if an application can tolerate the thickness the MAST lossy foam product series may be a cost effective way to attenuate energy within the enclosure. Contact a MAST Technologies engineer for more information on how we can help you solve your high frequency EMI issues.
